continued…….This called to mind the words of a wise king, Solomon who said: “There is hope for whoever is among the living, because a live dog is better off than a dead lion. For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten. Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they no longer have a share in what is done under the sun. Then he added, Enjoy life with your beloved wife all the days of your futil life, which He has given you under the sun, all the days of your futility, for that is your lot in life and in your hard work at which you toil under the sun”. These sayings are trustworthy, yes this sayings are true.
However, the wise king said: I have seen something further under the sun, that the swift do not always win the race nor do the wise always have the food, nor do those with knowledge always have success, because time and unexpected events overtake them all.
For man does not know his time. Just as fish are caught in an evil net and birds are caught in a trap, so the sons of men are ensnared in a time of disaster, when it suddenly overtakes him…….
Hmm….The wise king was wise in deeded little wonder though why he was attributed, the wisest king who ever lived (Solomon was his name, his fathers name was David, the son of Jes’se, the of ancient Israel)
Could these wise sayings of the wise king be what has happened to Eduful? has disaster over taken him? has his beloved wife been caught in an evil net just like an unsuspecting fish? and whats more, has he even enjoyed life with his beloved Ama before she was caught in a trap just like a bird?
All this questions can not be fully answered as what lay ahead looks like an emerald; an empty space that becomes wider as you get closer.
To Eduful this Friday seems like it will never end as each second seemed as if it was hours. The clock must have all stopped, the whole world looks to be on a stand still.
The future is covered with clouds, what lies ahead is uncertainties, fears, depression, sadness, anger, bitterness and grief
“It was a very long Friday to Eduful a day he will not forget in a hurry. A tragic day that changed Eduful’s life forever!”
